1968 Mercury Cougar GT in Wilmette, IL

It is a very clean all numbers matching car, including sheet metal. A nice easy project for someone with the time and ability to complete it...I don't. It is a Cougar Hardtop base (not XR7) with the GT Equipment Group. It has the big block 390-4V code "S" (325hp) professionally rebuilt engine bored .30 over, a mild cam, headers, and less than 100 miles on rebuild. It has the heavy duty 3 speed C-6 Merc-O-Matic auto trans on the floor, which shifts perfectly. The exterior has just been professionally painted in the original code "N" Diamond Blue color (white with a blue tint), and looks beautiful! The interior is Light Blue (in nice original shape) with a bench seat and floor shifter.
